Personal Statement:
Hi, my name is Emma Graff, and I attend Pewaukee High School in Pewaukee, WI. I am a High Honor Roll student-athlete, will graduate in 2025, and I play as a power forward on the high school varsity basketball team. Off-season, you will find me playing on the varsity girls' fast-pitch softball team and running with the cross-country team, as I believe it is crucial to be a well-rounded athlete. I aspire to attend college and earn an advanced degree in either sports medicine, sports psychology, or become a physicians assistant at a school in the Midwest or the southern states. I am open to exploring my opportunities and would love to travel. In addition, I would like to continue my sports career and compete throughout college. Off the court and field, I have a strong worth ethic and am very diligent about my studies. Currently, my favorite course is sports marketing and English literature. I love to take on opportunities outside of school, like participating in the Best Buddies Club (One-to-One Friendship, Integrated Employment, and Leadership Development programs for individuals with and without disabilities) and have regular and frequent jobs babysitting for children of all ages in my neighborhood. On the court, I am a very versatile and strategic team player with specific strengths in mid-range shooting, aggressiveness, rebounding, defense, and overall awareness. I can work in the paint, shoot from outside the perimeter, continue to play through mistakes and support my teammates throughout the game. AAU season is my favorite time of year as I love being around my teammates, constantly working to get better, and being able to show off my skills to all coaches at travel tournaments.

I strongly believe it isn't worth it if the opportunity isn't challenging or hard. You have to work for the good things in life and believe in yourself along the way.
